“ What an incredible experience - a must go if you are near Bilbao or San Sebastián This restaurant was definitely one of unexpected highlights amongst a few Michelin starred restaurant we visited around the Basque Country. The decor is very stylish and walking in through a cupboard was very cool. The presentation of all dishes was beautiful and quirky. Food highlights were the chicken dish, scallop in a miso sauce and prawn mille feuille. Some dishes didn’t quite work for me but because the flavour combinations and textures were so interesting, it didn’t affect my experience at all - this is not a traditional comfort food restaurant after all! Fingers crossed for their second Michelin star! ”

“ One of the best culinary experiences we had while in Northern Spain. We tried 4 different Michellin star restaurants and they most didn't even come close to the Menu we had at Alejandro Serrano's restaurant. Every detail was taken care of from the moment you walked in. Very inventive menu full of creativity and taste. I especially loved the mustard ice cream and the fillet (which was so good we ordered another). Also, the deserts are a decadent journey through rich inventive tastes. I mean where else can you say you've tried cedar wood flavored ice cream ”

“ Excellent food at Alejandro Serrano's restaurant. We ordered the El Bosque menu and were delighted. The food was delicious, with appropriate dishes and quality produce. Alejandro himself introduced himself and brought some of his dishes, and with Seúl they completed a very pleasant experience, one to repeat. Excellent grilling skills and very competent staff. Small place, but with large tables, and a dimly lit atmosphere, but enough to see and enjoy everything to the fullest. 100% recommended ”
